Yahya Ashour is a touring poet and an award winning author from Gaza, Palestine.

He has been reading his poetry across the United States since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.

He was born on April 22nd, 1998 in Gaza, where he grew up and continuously resided until September 2023, when he came to the United States to participate in the Palestine Writes Festival at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He has been stranded in the US, unable to go back home since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza in October 2023. He is currently staying in Saline, Michigan.
