PS1 Art Markets at Big Grove
We’re grateful to partner with Big Grove Brewery for tri-annual art markets featuring local artists!
next sale: Sat. Dec. 14, 2024, 3-7pm
Priority consideration will be given to applications received by 8pm on Monday, November 11. Participants will be notified of their acceptance by the following Friday November 15.
Individual table space is 4 ft long. There is no fee to register; instead, artists are asked to donate 20% of their day of sales to PS1 to support our arts programs, spaces, and resources (and future art markets!).
Here is the rubric we will use to select artists.
• We prioritize PS1 Members (ALL members including: ICPC, MAC, gallery team, sustaining, etc)
• Skillful and professionally presented application (clear and thorough representation of work and thoughtful response to application questions)
• Range of media represented in the sale (we aim for a variety of art styles and media at each sale)
• Range of art sales experience* and opportunity levels:
we aim for a variety of experienced and novice art sale/booth artists –
we also aim to share this opportunity throughout multiple sales (those who didn’t participate in the most recent art sale and meet other qualifications will have higher priority)
• Received by initial deadline (priority is given to people who meet initial deadline)
*if you have never participated in an art sale before but want to: we encourage you to apply and will be providing some tips, perspectives, and best practices from our experienced team.
We also have some tabletop display furniture available to borrow for vendors who don’t have their own setup yet.
