Tuesday December 21, 6p-
PS1 Close House
538 S. Gilbert
Organized by Sarahann Kolder, who is a current PS1 fellow, this event is a closing to an ongoing exploration of the theme: BEING IN THE DARK NIGHT. You're invited to lean into the season's longer nights, the longest of which is the date of the event (winter solstice). Be curious and open--even reverent and excited--for light-minimal experience. The program is largely meant as designated time and space for collective sensory shift and reflection. There will be musical, movement, meditative, visual, and participatory components to this performance/activity, with several artistic collaborators. Rated PG-13 for adult themes and somewhat spooky Vibes.
You are welcome to email sarahannlkolder@gmail.com to contribute art of any form.
Please note that the space is only accessible via stairs. If you are unable to attend, but are interested in how it goes, email sarahannlkolder@gmail.com.
Please be fully vaccinated and bring a mask.
