Sean Tyler

I am an artist and grad student at Uiowa. I'm a painting student, and I love working with any kind of textile and I've been experimenting with higher-tech materials. My miniature collection of laser-cut acrylic jewelry came out of my thesis show. After a hard couple of years, my thesis came out serious and had a lot to do with mental health. After the show was done, I wanted to use up my leftover materials on something funny, so antidepressant themed earrings were born. My other products aren't quite as connected to my studio work thematically, and they're a diverse bunch, but they all came out of my love for trying new media and wanting to practice techniques. I've included a range of scarves from a recent plant-based dye passion, and embroidered pieces.

Aaron Moseley

I make functional wood fired ceramics. My work is fired to 2400 degrees fueled by wood, to create the surface on the work. Each piece is unique in how the flame interacts with it, and that’s what excites me most about the process.
