TEACHING ARTIST

Emily received a BFA in printmaking with an emphasis in intaglio processes and expanded media from the University of Kansas in 2012. She has taught both adult and children’s courses through the Spencer Art Museum, Manhattan Arts Center, and the Iowa City Press Co-op. Her prints and assemblages address mindfulness and absurdity as a way to counter hardships. She lives and works in Iowa City with her family. emilyjalinsky.com
