Monday Aug. 14 - 6:30-7:30p with Tiffany Hansen
Tiffany has been practicing yoga since 2008. She is RYT-200 and holds certification for Yin Yoga: level 1. She is studying with Omaha Integrative Care for her 300 hour yoga teaching certification. She finds joy and healing with the practice. The Monday night class will be slow, gentle, and relaxing.
Tuesday Aug. 15 - 5:30p-6:30p with Zaria Rochester
Zaria is a passionate teacher that loves to work at the intersections of yoga, Ayurveda, social justice and collective liberation.
Wednesday Aug. 16 - 5:30p-6:30p with Tonja Robins
Tonja borrows from Iyengar and Forrest style yoga traditions to supplement her Vinyasa training. She holds a certificate in Trauma Yoga also. Her teaching experience ranges from intimate classes at a small studio to teaching large groups at UI in both the Dance Department and the Wellness Center. She's also a poet, teaches literature and writing, and makes collages. Slow, gentle, steady and sweetly stretchy describes her class style.
Thursday Aug. 17 - 6-7p with Jennifer New
Jennifer has been teaching yoga since 2010 and practicing it since 1992. She received her 300-hour certification at Kripalu in Massachusetts and later got her 500-hour YTT in that same style. Her approach is gentle, casual, and community-oriented. As a certified TRE instructor, she has deep training in trauma. Jennifer is a creative writer dedicated to using the arts for community building and resilience.
