Teaching Artists:

Astrid Bennett and Anita Jung are both trained as fine art printmakers. Their interest in art and “making things” began in childhood and has never wavered. Astrid received her BFA in printmaking from Indiana University and has exhibited and taught at various locations throughout the country. She is currently the President of the international contemporary textile nonprofit, Surface Design Association. Anita received her BFA in painting and drawing from Arizona State University, and her MFA in graphic arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she too has exhibited and taught art throughout the US. She has studied textile printing in India, and spent 2022 on a Fulbright studying textiles and printmaking. She is currently a professor of art at the University of Iowa.
