Teaching Artist:

Mackie Garrett is a poet, artist, and caregiver based in Iowa City. He designs and letterpress prints zines, chapbooks, greeting cards, and posters as 508 Press. His poems have appeared in many online and print journals including THE FOURTH RIVER, PLAINSONGS, BOMBUS PRESS, BLUE RIVER REVIEW, and a poem is forthcoming in SPOON RIVER POETRY REVIEW. He enjoys playing music, taking photographs, and sending mail. He loves to spend time with family and friends.
