Teaching Artist:

Mackie Garrett is a poet, artist, caregiver, and English as a Second Language teacher based in Iowa City. He designs and letterpress prints zines, chapbooks, greeting cards, and posters as 508 Press. In addition to reading, printing, and writing, he enjoys playing music, taking photographs, hanging with family and friends, and sending mail.
