Jerron Herman artist talk

Jerron Herman is an artist compelled to create images of freedom. His work has been presented at Danspace Project, PSNY, The Whitney Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Cooper Hewitt Design Museum and Guggenheim. Jerron is the choreographer and co-director of Sensorium Ex. His writings have been published in the US and abroad including Art Papers and Theater Magazine in 2022. He is a part of INTERIM, a boutique centering joy for disabled artists helmed by Candace Feldman. Other accolades include a 2024 USA Fellowship, 2023 Visiting Artist for FokusTanz #10 Kampnagel, 2023-24 Fellowship at NYU/Center for Ballet and the Arts, 2022 Residency at the European Ceramics Work Centre, 2021 Grants to Artists Award from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, 2021 Jerome Hill Fellowship in Dance from the Jerome Foundation, 2020 Disability Futures Fellowship.
