The Collective Mending Sessions is a socially engaged project where participants learn basic embroidery and mending techniques while contributing to the creative mending of an quilt alongside the artist. The healing act of mending promotes connection and care through the meditative practice of slow stitching. Open to all ages and skill levels.

This workshop is offered in conjunction with Catherine Reinhart’s exhibition polYESter in the PS1 gallery.
