Adult SPOKEN WORD POETRY WRITING WORKSHOP

Tution: $25 (or included in Mic Check Fest Pass)

This workshop will use spoken word performances to examine how one can write poems that embody protest. From the smallest acts to the big ideas, we will discuss how to shape a poem that challenges the powers that be. Attendees will have an opportunity to write their own protest poem and share.
