Shifting Ground is part of an international social practice research program based at the University of Evora, Portugal. There, artist-researchers pursue a co-creation methodology in working with marginalized groups and their community support organizations. Since 2019, Shifting Ground has had workshops in the US and Portugal with immigrant memories and clay as a fundamental material of everyday life.
Note that this talk will be held at the University of Iowa Visual Arts Building Room E125, not PS1!
