Join us for the closing of Blueberry Morninginsnow’s Whales in the Sky: the Star Death, the River Now and the Imaginal Future ( A Triptych) at PS1 Northside gallery.
6:30-7:30p — the gallery is open for the last time
7:30p — the art ritual/ performance begins--we'll gather in the art courtyard in front of the a-frame shed
--folks will be invited into the circle with songs and poems and humming together.
--there will be some participatory gifts and thoughts given
(everyone can choose their level of interaction)
8:15p — those who want to, walk together to the Iowa River.
We’ll have walnut candle boats that we can float on the river, and let go of something we wish to no longer carry.
We return back to PS1/ everyone takes a piece of the exhibit with them if they wish.
