Aysia Jay

Free Studio Resident, winter 2021-22

Aysia is an Iowa-City-based illustrator, painter and photographer with an eye for detail and an affinity for the outdoors. They hope to use their time at PS1 to work on a project that celebrates unnoticed parts of nature and minutiae in the natural world. Taking mushrooms as the focus, they will use watercolor and experiment with sculpture to create their body of work.
