Join PS1 Art Gardener Kymbyr for an immersion into “minute detail," a close and careful examination of something, focusing on the smallest features and aspects. Using a red square frame, we'll explore what really is happening in and on that tiny bit of earth we’re standing on. 

Presented as an engaged prompt ahead of the film Observer coming to FilmScene May 31st, 4pm. 

We will meet at 229 N Gilbert PS1 in the Art Gardens, exploring and moving our red frames around to observe who and what is living or dead. How many hundreds of different bits of yard nature are in a small square? Soil, tiny pebble, dandelion bud, a crystal or a fairy wing? I’ll share a zine of prompts and suggestions to ignite each other's insights and observations, for us to all share amongst each other.
