Interested in mail art histories, futures, forms, and practices? Join us for a conversation/hands-on workshop with artist and San Francisco Correspondence Co-op member Charles Kremenak.

Founded by Jennie Hinchcliff, the SF Correspondence Co-op has been meeting monthly since 2011. At the onset of the pandemic they migrated meetings online and started to gain more attendees from outside the Bay Area. As a result, now that they’ve re-initiated in-person meetings, they maintain one out of every three meetings online so as to continue to cultivate connections with members from far away or unable to meet in person. SFCC membeers have found great inspiration, support and camaraderie through gatherings, collaborative projects, sharing techniques, history, resources and art materials. On Nov. 1 we’ll gather to explore the possibilities of Iowa City-based correspondence-art connections and energies.
