PS1 invites proposals from local artists for new site-specific outdoor work.

this could get snowed on will display one large (9 by 5.5 foot) banner, painting, flag, etc. each month from December 2020-March 2021 on the front porch of 229 N. Gilbert.

The work can be weather-resistant, designed to respond to winter weather, or just made with the knowledge that weather will happen to it during the course of its display. It will be installed with grommets (grommet and installation assistance will be provided!) and can be made of any strong, flexible material.

Four artists will be selected to display their piece for one month each and be awarded a stipend of $75 to help cover materials.
