In this series of workshops, Cicelia Ross-Gotta will lead group discussions and writing exercises to refine, define and hone the participant's conceptual throughline in their artistic practice. We will take turns looking at each other's work not to evaluate or critique, but to thoughtfully and respectfully elucidate insights about the themes we see. Through sharing images and conversation, we will work together to support a deeper understanding of each other's practice. This workshop would be fantastic prep work for grants, applications, or artist statements, if you might be feeling a bit conceptually stagnant or if you just like to talk about art and ideas!
