Join in the fun of decorative boxes, part 2! Intended for those that have a basic familiarity with binder’s board, wrapping with decorative papers, and tools like a bone folder/trimming with an exacto blade, this workshop will feature everyone making their own decorative box with a hinged lid.

Participants will be able to choose their own measurements for their box, and experience planning their own boxes from start to finish - sketching their boxes on paper, trimming on the board shear, sanding, gluing, and wrapping in a decorative paper of their choice. This workshop will not only be a great reiteration of key concepts in boxmaking, but will give experience in what it feels like to take a concept from the theoretical into the material!

Open to ages 18+.

Registration deadline: July 16

*PS1 workshops are pay-what-you-can thanks to support from Hills Bank and individual donors. $113 is the true cost of the workshop, and we encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support future sliding-scale fees.
